Stew on the Menu
I have a new stew find to share with you! It's that time of year when I'm recovering from too many treats at Christmas and wanting something healthy, but it is January, so I'm also wanting something comforting and warm. We made this White Bean Kale Stew last night and it hit all of the notes - and was incredibly easy to make. I reheated the bowl above for lunch today and I think it's actually better after it's in the fridge overnight. It's from Martha Stewart's Whole Living site and I highly recommend it. Click the link above for the recipe.
Today I'm trying a crock-pot riff of an Olive Garden soup recipe. I'll let you know how it turns out! For those of you reorganizing your kitchen - one of my better decisions was to use flowerpots to store my potatoes and onions in the pantry. I like that it looks rustic and also keeps them cool.
Below is a peek at what I've been working on. Daisies all over the studio.
And Lucy, who always moves just a little too quickly for me to get a clear shot.
Hope you're all enjoying the new year!

Mmmm, that stew looks delicious! Thanks for stopping by my blog. Love yours (especially the name)!
You know I love your daisies. Will that be going up for sale, it looks heavenly and belongs right next to the other daisy in my window. beautiful AND the stew looks so yummy.
Oh, thanks! :-) I will be putting this one and a few other daisies up for sale in February when I get them all varnished up and photographed. This one's bigger - 12x12, but I'm doing some little ones too. Hope you're having a nice new year so far!
