This week all talk around our house is about vacation!
We're getting all set to head up to Sioux Narrows, Canada, where my Dad's side of the family shares a cabin. It has been a few years since we've been able to make the trek, due to job changes and moves and everything else, so Brad and I are ridiculously excited!
Yesterday we did the obligatory trips to Cabela's and Bass Pro Shops to scout around for camping and fishing things that we may or may not actually need. We didn't walk away with much, but just looking at all of the supplies is enough to make it feel really close. Today and tomorrow, in between prepping some new prints for my etsy shop, I'm going to be making a million checklists and laying everything out on the spare bed. Passports. Paints. Books. Loon call (yep. have one.) Hats. Memory cards. Sunscreen.
That said, vacation mode in the Stubborn Dog shop will be in effect from August 7-15. In the meantime, here's a preview of one of the prints I'm getting ready today:
