Cedarburg Strawberry Festival

This weekend I had my first art fest booth, at the Cedarburg Strawberry Festival. It was fun and I learned a lot about how festivals work - leaving me with infinite ideas and plans for the next one! Thanks to anyone who stopped by - and to my DeVrieze and Arp help squad. If you took something home, I hope that you're enjoying it. The crowds were thick and I think that people had a great weekend. When the sun was out, the weather was absolutely beautiful. We only had a little bit of rain, and one moment of wild, tent-flapping, art-moving, wind! :-) Needless to say, it didn't scare me away from the festival world. I'm tentatively planning to do Beaux Arts in Iowa and the Cedarburg Wine Festival this fall, so I hope to see some of you again.

This week I'll be posting many items in my online
Etsy shop, so please take time to visit. With the summer off from teaching, I'll be working on new things and updating regularly. If you'd like to be added to an email list and receive notes about new work and upcoming fests, please email me: stubborndogartwork@yahoo.com
I'll be happy to add you!

Here are a few pics of the Stubborn Dog tent at the fest (
everything's looking a little blue from the tent reflection, so you can imagine things a little lighter...ha):

This is Brad's dad, Bill, and me attempting to get the cardboard stand to work... good grief...always something! :-)
