Hello, October.

 

It's October! I love this month, and it's not even because of Halloween. It's just the peak of Fall, when all of the school activities are settling in and the trees are changing and I have a little time just to breathe and enjoy it. Scout loves it too, as you can see. She's content now because the windows are all open and she's cool. I prop the front door to the porch so she can go in and out at will, which lets her keep track of things. Most evenings I can find both Scout and Lucy out there, in their own little spots to watch the neighbors. I did also pull my little stash of Halloween decorations out, so I'll share my display with you soon. Meanwhile, this vampire is perched in our wreath on the door. I picked him up at the end of last year and I just love his little face and the sparkle in his trousers. Hope you're enjoying all of this too!
