Blooms.

Weekend blooms for you today! The top three are photos of our yard this morning: lilacs, pussywillows, and tulips. My grandparents used to have a pussywillow tree near their barn, and I've sort of decided to install one wherever I live from now on. I love them. The coasters were a Christmas gift from my parents-in-law. They're from uncommon on etsy, and they feel so perfect for spring. The last shot is of a daffodil painting I worked on last weekend. It's acrylic on a 12x12 canvas. I've been doing flowers for weeks now, and finally the weather is matching my mood. Hope it's nice out wherever you are!

The pussywillow looks so much like caterpillars! Fun! Wonderful painting. I love daffodils. I have so many different kinds in our yard.

Great post! Spring has sprung here but I keep forgetting to grab my camera on the way out the door..it will be gone before I get a single pic!

Such a gorgeous post. Pussywillows are so elegant...and rustic, all at the same time! Lovely that they remind you of your grandparents.

The daffodil painting is outstanding...will be sold in no time!

We here in the Pacific Northwest are indeed enjoying signs of spring!
