Winter has officially come to Nebraska, and since we're halfway through February, that seems just about right. The view below is from our upstairs window, taken last Saturday during the snowfall. We have been spending a lot of time indoors, but we braved the cold for a few key dog walks and to attend the Omaha Extreme Beerfest yesterday. Last week I worked to perfect the no-knead bread recipe I mentioned, and I think I've finally figured out the right temperature! Tomorrow I'm going to test it one more time before sharing - and also in hopes of taking a photo of the actual bread while it's still light out. In the meantime, have a wonderful Valentine's Day! The penguins above are a mini-print that I'll be adding to the shop tonight.
