Fantastic Friday

So it's Friday - and I'm off work, so that means painting and picturing and all sorts of stuff (and laundry, but I don't really want to talk about that). I've added a few new framed originals to my shop, so check that out.

Brad is on call tonight, so it's just me and my best-gal Scout. I'm getting prepped to spend the rest of the day/night painting away. I actually dreamed about painting last night. I think that might be a first for me. I regularly go to sleep thinking about the things I might paint, but I've never actually had a dream about painting that I can remember. Last night I painted lots of socks on clothes lines, so I'm going to have to carry on with some of that in reality today... (I know - you're thinking that I could dream about painting something more jaw-dropping, but socks are important. Especially dry ones).

I also have some other things for friends in the works, which is exciting. It's always best for me to have 4 or 5 things going at once because I'm pretty impatient while things dry. If I don't have something else to move over to, I'm likely to smudge something and ruin it all because I was hasty. Tsk, tsk, I know.

Anyway - off to work on things! Oh - and I bought myself something yesterday... which makes for 2 etsy purchases this month. I couldn't resist and I've been eyeing this really great print for a LOONG time. I featured it in a treasury like a year ago, so it's finally going to be mine.
